Ragamuffin Roundup

Ragamuffin is a homegrown store that opened its doors in 1982. Over the years, it has become one of the largest stores in Modesto’s McHenry Village. In 2011, it was purchased by Kathie McBroom; her mission is to continue to offer unique clothing and gift items for infants to preteens. Ragamuffin also offers a fun selection of great accessories, toys, books, and gifts. All are personally wrapped for our customers' experience at no extra charge. Ragamuffin has been in business for over 30 years. We are proud to be the mayor’s favorite clothing store for children and a popular shopping destination for celebrities in the wine industry

The original founders of the store were Maggie Zeff and Susan Conway, who came up with the same. "Ragamuffin" is a term that was used by older generations to refer to kids as "little ragamuffins."
